Day by day
One thing I do regret about my youth is that I didn't keep a serious diary. I even intended to do so when I went to Scotland in 2017. But again, I got lazy. I've done loads of blogs about Star Trek, sci-fi in general, books I'm reading, films I watched, teaching skills I picked up at UTA, and several other aborted attempts.
This has come back into my mind as I'm reading one of Michael Palin's Diary series of books about The Python Years
Thinking back, I think the fact I was trying to plan it might have been the problem. So this will be a diary of my day to day life that will cover any and everything. Some will be personal, some will be literary, some will be about my writing or about my learning to teach or anything you can probably think of.
Anyway, the first entry is supposed to be the hardest, so hopefully it is all downhill from here. I also hope someone reads it and gets something from it the way I have from M Palin's.
